  • No doubt you can save money by using VoIP on your smart phone but the fact is majority does not need any smart phone at all. Most of us will lead the same life even without a smart phone. Remember we can’t use mobile on a low cost mobile set.

  • This is a reality. Until now, only high cost smart phones have become compatible with the mobile phones. Surveys indicate that less than 50% of US population has smart phones. Majority of the smart phone buyers is just following the hype created by media.

  • I don’t think majority is following the hype created by media. These smart phones offer low cost computing and internet facilities to many students who are living in hostels. These students can bring their phone costs down if they use VoIP on their smart phones. Similarly, businessmen can remain in touch with their workers via these smart phones.

    • I appreciate the comment, but it solves the purpose. In Today’s world if one could communicate with someone via phone at an affordable cost is well and good, is what one would ask for 🙂
